HISTORY OF ISLAMIC FOUNDATION KELANTAN
Kelantan Islamic Foundation was first established on the 1st of July 1974 under the Kelantan Enactment No. 9 / 1968 (High School of the Kelantan Islamic Foundation) and it was formerly known as the Department of Religious Schools Kelantan (JASA) Having its principal office in Lundang, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Names are perceived on June 1979, it was registered under the Kelantan Enactment no. 5 / 1979 as the Kelantan Islamic Education Foundation (YPINK). However the same was again renamed as the Kelantan Islamic Foundation (Yik) on the 1st of March 1983 as per the Kelantan Enactment No. 8 / 1982.
